Application Licence

Effective: August 1, 2026

This page explains the licence position for official MailOn.Cloud applications published by Arslaan Ltd, company number 16667689, with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. It applies wherever an official MailOn.Cloud application is made available for Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android or another authorised platform or distribution channel.

Publisher and application family

The application publisher and service provider is Arslaan Ltd, trading as MailOn.Cloud. Official MailOn.Cloud applications are clients for MailOn.Cloud business email accounts and related MailOn.Cloud services. Availability, features and supported operating-system versions may differ by platform.

How these licence terms work

This page, the customer's accepted order, the MailOn.Cloud Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy govern use of the application and connected MailOn.Cloud service. Terms imposed by the store, platform or authorised distribution channel through which the application is obtained may also apply. Mandatory consumer rights and mandatory platform terms are not excluded or reduced by this page.

Distribution platform terms

Microsoft Store

The Microsoft Store product is MailOn.Cloud, Store ID 9PKG0HBXXVNB. No separate custom additional licence terms are supplied in Partner Center, so Microsoft's Standard Application License Terms apply unless the Store presents different terms for a particular market or transaction. The software is licensed, not sold.

Read Microsoft's Services Agreement and Standard Application License Terms.

Apple App Store and Mac App Store

Where a MailOn.Cloud application is distributed through Apple's App Store or Mac App Store, Apple's applicable store usage rules and end-user licence terms also apply. Unless Arslaan Ltd supplies a custom end-user licence agreement through App Store Connect, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to that distribution.

Read Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

Google Play and Huawei AppGallery

Where a MailOn.Cloud application is obtained through Google Play or Huawei AppGallery, the applicable store, account, acquisition, installation and update terms for that channel also apply. Those platform terms govern use of the distribution service; this Application Licence and the MailOn.Cloud Terms of Service continue to govern the MailOn.Cloud application and online service.

Other authorised distribution

For an official application supplied through another channel expressly authorised by Arslaan Ltd, this Application Licence and the MailOn.Cloud Terms of Service apply together with any mandatory terms presented by that channel.

Business-use permission

Subject to the applicable distribution-platform terms and the customer's active MailOn.Cloud service agreement, Arslaan Ltd permits the customer and its authorised users to install and use official MailOn.Cloud applications for the customer's internal business operations with its subscribed MailOn.Cloud service. This permission does not authorise resale, sublicensing, service-bureau use for unauthorised third parties or use with accounts that the user is not entitled to access.

Account and online-service requirement

An active MailOn.Cloud account is required. Installing an application does not create a subscription, mailbox or service entitlement. Sign-in, synchronization, sending, support, storage and other online-service functions are governed by the customer's order, the MailOn.Cloud Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

Permitted use and restrictions

Users must protect their credentials, comply with applicable law and use only accounts and data they are authorised to access. Users must not bypass technical limitations, interfere with security controls, misuse the application to access another customer's information or use it for spam, phishing, malware, fraud or other unlawful activity.

Nothing in this page restricts rights that cannot lawfully be restricted or rights granted by an applicable open-source licence. Any reverse-engineering restriction is subject to mandatory legal and open-source exceptions.

Updates, compatibility and availability

Application stores and authorised distribution channels may install or offer updates according to their terms and the user's device settings. Arslaan Ltd may update an application for security, reliability, compatibility, legal compliance or product improvement. Internet access and an active MailOn.Cloud service remain necessary for online functions, and features may depend on the operating system, device capabilities, application version and service availability.

Privacy and local data

The application processes MailOn.Cloud mailbox, contact, calendar, account and device information as described in the Privacy Policy. Where supported, offline mailbox and organiser data is held in account-scoped encrypted storage, while database keys and session records use operating-system secure storage. Removing an account, clearing offline data or uninstalling the application affects local copies but does not by itself delete server-side mailbox data.

Third-party and open-source software

The application includes third-party and open-source components, including SQLCipher Community Edition where used by the platform build. Their notices and licence terms are available inside the application under About & Legal → Open-source licences. Those component-specific terms apply to the relevant software and are not replaced by this page.

Ownership

Except for third-party components and customer content, the MailOn.Cloud applications, branding and original materials are owned by Arslaan Ltd or its licensors. No ownership is transferred to the user.

Warranty, liability and mandatory rights

The applicable distribution-platform terms and the MailOn.Cloud Terms of Service address warranties, remedies and liability. Nothing in this page excludes or limits liability or consumer, business or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Support and legal contact

Application stores and platform operators distribute or facilitate installation of the application but do not operate the MailOn.Cloud email service. Application and service support is provided by Arslaan Ltd through the MailOn.Cloud support page or at [email protected]. Licence questions may be sent to [email protected].
