Terms of Service
Effective: August 1, 2026
These terms are between the customer and Arslaan Ltd (company number 16667689), trading as MailOn.Cloud, with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Ordering, administering or using a MailOn.Cloud service means the customer accepts these terms and any order-specific terms.
Business service and authority
MailOn.Cloud is intended for business and organisational use. The customer must ensure that administrators are authorised to create and manage domains, mailboxes and users, and that users are permitted to access the information available through their accounts. Account information must be accurate and credentials must be protected.
Services and applications
The ordered plan, capacity, price, renewal terms and onboarding scope are shown before confirmation. The MailOn.Cloud applications require an active MailOn.Cloud account and internet access for sign-in, synchronization and sending. Offline features operate only on information already synchronized to the device.
Software obtained from the Microsoft Store is licensed, not sold, under the Microsoft Store Standard Application License Terms unless Partner Center displays different additional licence terms. For a customer with an active MailOn.Cloud business service agreement, Arslaan Ltd grants the commercial-use rights contemplated by those Standard Application License Terms solely for the customer's internal business use of the application with its subscribed MailOn.Cloud service. Online services, subscriptions and mailbox use remain governed by these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
The service may not be used for spam, phishing, malware, fraud, unlawful content, unauthorised access, abusive automation, intellectual-property infringement or activity that threatens systems, networks, users or third parties. Customers must comply with applicable communications, privacy, employment and record-retention laws.
Customer content and data responsibilities
The customer retains its rights in mailbox and organiser content. The customer grants Arslaan Ltd the limited rights needed to host, transmit, secure, scan, back up and otherwise process that content to provide the service. The customer is responsible for instructions given to users, retention requirements, lawful monitoring and the legal basis for processing personal information within its mailboxes.
Billing, renewal and taxes
Charges are due according to the accepted order. Introductory and renewal prices are stated with the package or order. Taxes, additional storage, migrations and custom work may be charged separately when agreed. Failure to pay may result in restriction or suspension after any notice required by law or contract.
Security and user duties
Customers must use reasonable security controls, protect credentials, maintain supported devices and promptly report suspected compromise or abuse. Arslaan Ltd may apply security limits, block malicious content, require re-authentication or restrict risky activity to protect the service and its users.
Availability, maintenance and changes
We aim to provide a dependable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents, third-party provider failures, internet conditions and circumstances outside reasonable control may affect availability. We may change features where reasonably required for security, reliability, compatibility, legal compliance or product improvement, while seeking not to remove the essential benefit of a paid service without an appropriate remedy.
Intellectual property and open-source software
MailOn.Cloud software, branding, documentation and original content are owned by Arslaan Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. No ownership is transferred to the customer. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licence terms, which are available in the application's About & Legal section.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend service for non-payment, abuse, material breach, security risk or legal requirement. Either party may terminate as allowed by the order or applicable law. Customers should export required data before termination where access remains available. After termination, data may be deleted according to the service configuration, retention obligations and Privacy Policy.
Warranties and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, the service is provided with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery, perfect spam detection, recovery of every message or compatibility with every device or third-party system.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings or business opportunity. Arslaan Ltd's aggregate liability arising from a service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees paid for that service during that period, except where a different limit is required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
Microsoft Store
Microsoft operates the Store and is not responsible for providing MailOn.Cloud support or online services. Store distribution, installation and updates are also subject to Microsoft's applicable terms. Questions about MailOn.Cloud should be sent to us, not Microsoft.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives a customer or user the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
